Activating Your Account
After you complete the registration information, Second Life® will send an email to the email address you provided. In the email is a link directing you to the Second Life® 'Welcome' webpage.
From the 'Welcome" page you can:
a) download the Second Life® program onto your computer.
b) Next, 'Open' the program by right clicking on the Second Life® Hand. This will bring you to the "Log In' page.
On the Second Life® "Log In" page, enter your avatar’s first and last avatar name and password. Press Log In.
You will notice the “Terms of Service Agreement”. Many people do not read this information before they select “Create Account”. It is highly recommended you read these documents as they provide information on how to behave in Second Life®. You are responsible for reading and understanding the Terms of Service Agreement provided by Linden Labs before you participate in the virtual world.
