3D Virtual Worlds

The creation of 3D virtual world environments was possible with the use of Second Life®.

Individual and group participation is possible in the Muinjij Island (Second Life®) for those 18 years of age and older. Open access to the Muinji’j Story Island is available for those between 13 – 17 years old.

Descriptions of the activities and island are available in the Stories of Conne River section of the website and Second Life® Muinjij Island and Machinima of the Story. An Orientation Manual provides information regarding the virtual world of Second Life®, Memorial University Second Life® course and project information, how to access Second Life® and sections providing instructions for basic functioning in Second Life® to help you participate in the story.
